Refuge storeThe Refuge Store, which is located inside the Visitor Center at Bombay Hook NWR, is operated by the Friends of Bombay Hook in association with Bombay Hook NWR and the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service. It is open Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm year round (closed on federal holidays), and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am to 5:00pm in March, April, May, September, October and November.

Revenue from the sale of merchandise in the Refuge Store is the largest source of Friends' income. Those profits, along with Friends' membership dues, are used to fund educational and recreational programs at Bombay Hook NWR.

Join the Friends of Bombay Hook and take advantage of the member discount: Friends' members receive a 10% discount off the retail price of store merchandise in our store and many other refuge stores. We accept major credit cards and personal checks.

Refuge StoreMany of the items in the store inventory are unique and cannot be purchased in any retail store or by mail order. The hats, t-shirts, and sweatshirts we sell feature graphics designed exclusively for Friends by local wildlife artists and are adorned with the Friends logo. The exquisite Christmas ornaments we sell are hand-painted by Marcia Poling, a Friends member.
